This intensive is designed to prepare you for group classes at The Dance Hub. It includes:
- The basics of barre work
- Fundamentals of center work
- Stretching and strengthening for dancers
- Individual instruction and attention
- Introduction to class etiquette

Additional Information
Apparel: First time ballet students can wear ballet apparel such as a leotard and tights. (tights should be black, or pink, or skin tone) Athletic clothing such as leggings (no flares) and a sports top are also fine.
Ballet slippers and dance apparel can be purchased online at Capezio or Bloch. For shoes, we recommend a full-sole leather shoe for beginners. Check the sizing information for shoes carefully. If you can’t purchase ballet slippers for this intensive, socks are okay.
